Clearwater, Florida, Nov. 16, 2015 – On Friday, November 20, 2015, buyers from Pinellas County Government and other local agencies will meet with participating local business representatives to discuss purchasing needs and opportunities.
This annual event offers local businesses an opportunity to sell products and services directly to a wide range of government departments. Meet the individuals making purchasing decisions, identify department needs, and gain insight into the process of doing business with government agencies.
Representatives from more than 30 local agencies will be on hand to meet with participants, including Pinellas County Government, the University of South Florida, Pinellas and Hillsborough County Schools, the City of St. Petersburg, Tampa General Hospital, the U.S. Postal Service, Bright House Networks, and Moffitt Cancer Center.
“The Pinellas County Reverse Trade Show is about ‘buying local first’ and encouraging agencies and companies in Pinellas and throughout the region to consider our local businesses as suppliers and service providers,” said Mike Meidel, Director of Pinellas County Economic Development. “This is an efficient format in which business owners can speak directly to the local buyers from a number of agencies and companies, in one morning and all in one place.”
A “Doing Business with Government” panel discussion will follow the trade show exhibit period, and a complimentary lunch will be offered.
