November 1, 2015 – St. Petersburg, FL – Enjoy collecting art? Inspired by beauty and creativity? Seek that perfect holiday gift for a family member or friend? Then join us in South Straub Park on December 19-20, 2015 for the continuation of a St. Petersburg holiday tradition: The 2nd Annual St. Petersburg Holiday of the Arts.
The event is graciously co-sponsored by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance and the City of St. Petersburg. Local St. Petersburg artists, regional artists from across Florida and artisans from across America will journey to South Straub Park to weave a tapestry of exquisite handmade original fine art. Discover breathtaking creations by painters, jewelers, mixed-media artists and fiber artist. Select from creations in glass, ceramics, metalwork, fiber art and woodworking. Purchase for your home or office, family or friends. Discover something of yourself in the process. Meet the artists who created the works as all participants are the actual creators of the artwork.
Hours of the 2nd Annual St. Petersburg Holiday of the Arts are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free. Bring your sense of discovery and appreciation of the beautiful! As Devin, a middle school student so eloquently wrote:
“Art is your emotions flowing in a river of imagination.”
