St. Petersburg, Fla. (Nov. 2, 2015) – Legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist Nils Lofgren, a longtime member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, will perform at The Palladium Theater Saturday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m., part of our “Mahaffey on the Move” series.
From his early days as a member of the bands Grin and Crazy Horse, to his classic solo albums Cry Tough, I Came to Dance and Sacred Weapon, Nils Lofgren has long been part of the fabric of rock ‘n’ roll. He appeared on Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush, Tonight’s the Night, Trans and Unplugged albums, toured as a member of Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band in 2014.
Most recently, Fantasy Records issued Face the Music, a 10-disc career-spanning retrospective of Lofgren’s solo work; a live album from his recent acoustic tour in the UK (UK2015 Face the Music Tour) will be released on Lofgren’s own label imprint on Nov. 13.
