November 2. 2015-Belle of the Ball still has space available for its event to further girls` and women’s` self-defense ability and their self-esteem “Divas in Defense: A Women’s Self-Defense Class”, will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015, 2pm at Grady’s Family MMA: 16803 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33764. The class is designed for teens and women, ages 15 to 115, of any athletic ability and will run approximately 1 to 1.5 hours Class size is limited. An RSVP with name, contact phone number, and number of women attending is requested. A $10 to $20 donation is suggested to attend the class but is not necessary. Participants may bring a donation of a gently worn or new prom or homecoming dress or shoes. ALL donations will go directly to Belle of the Ball. Grady’s Family MMA gradysmma.com , event host, will donate all proceeds from the class to the charity. Belle of the Ball is also seeking Corporate and Individual sponsorships of the event, and will use proceeds to improve the charity`s offering to students as its main fund-raising event for the year.

We now strive to promote self-esteem and empowerment through self-defense. A woman is attacked every 2 ½ minutes in the United States. Are you going away to college? Do you work late? Do you walk alone? Do you wish you knew how to protect yourself? Through this class you will be prepared and strengthened for any situation. Our wish is for every girl to be empowered. Please feel free to attend even if you cannot provide a donation, but a reservation still needed to reserve your space.
