SARASOTA, FLORIDA – Central Sarasota Farmers Market (CSFM), a weekly food market, has re-opened and moved to a fantastic new location. Now operating on the grounds of the Florida House Institute, the growing market offers organic, hydroponic, and traditionally grown food from small, local and family-owned farms.
In addition to produce, the market offers other locally created food, non-perishable, and agriculture items including fresh cut flowers, soaps and scrubs, baked goods, gourmet coffee, nursery plants, and more.
“The Florida House is perfect for our farmer’s market.” said spokesperson Christopher Austin. “The location is very inviting, comfortable, and easy to access, the Florida House people are great to work with, and our two organizations have similar goals of community, education, and sustainability.”
The CSFM meets every Saturday from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m. in front of The Florida House Institute located at 4454 Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34233. Its convenient, centrally located venue offers plenty of parking and indoor restrooms and is pet friendly.
