SARASOTA, Fla. – Halfacre Construction Company (HalfacreConstruction.com), the area’s oldest, most established, locally owned and operated private commercial construction company, recently finished construction on the first new office buildings in Palmer Ranch in over 15 years.
The over $1.8-million new construction project, which began in March 2015, included the build out of two single-story office buildings for Palmer Ranch Holdings, Ltd. The project consisted of doing the site work and landscaping as well as assembling the building from block, wood trusses and applying the metal roof.
“We chose Halfacre Construction Company for this project because we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about the quality of their product,” says Justin Powell, senior vice president of Palmer Ranch Holdings, Ltd. “They were open and honest up front and have made this an easy process for us. We knew with Halfacre Construction Company, these offices would be built to last and would be something that we are proud to see every day.”
The first building is 10,150 square feet and the second building is 5,000 square feet and includes eight offices and two conference rooms. The smaller building will act as corporate headquarters for Palmer Ranch Holdings, Ltd. The other building is available for lease.
“The team at Halfacre Construction Company has been some of the best I have worked with, and they have become part of our work family,” says Powell. “We wouldn’t even think about expanding our office park without having them involved again.”
Located at 6561 and 6571 Palmer Park Circle in Sarasota, Palmer Ranch Holdings, Ltd. owns and manages the Palmer Ranch Development of Regional Impact.
