SARASOTA, Fla., October 16, 2015 – One of St. Armands Circle’s longest-tenured businesses, boutique clothing retailer Dream Weaver Collection, is reopening after an interior remodel to create a sleek, sophisticated look in keeping with its wearable art collections by American and European designers.
A grand reopening is planned Oct. 22 to 24 in conjunction with a trunk show of fashions by European designer Tatiana Palnitska, according to Joan Morgan, who opened Dream Weaver in 1989. A soft opening was held Saturday, Oct. 10, following a 12-day closure to install hardwood flooring and to change the interior color scheme and fixtures for a sleek look with clean, modern lines, Morgan said.
“We always have carried lines from artisanal American and European designers that are not available anywhere else in southwest Florida and are bringing in even more European collections from designers like Tatiana Palnitska, Annette Gortz, Sara Pucini and Ivan Grundahl,” Morgan said. “We select fashions from casual daywear to glamorous evening wear that are flattering to the body and look good in real life. Our clothes are cosmopolitan and contemporary, and we want their surroundings to continue to reflect that.”
