SARASOTA, Fla. – The Gulf Coast Builder’s Exchange (GCBX), a not-for-profit trade organization, recently hosted an Oktoberfest-themed networking social to bring together current and potential new members.
On Thursday, Oct. 8 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. over 100 guests gathered at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing. Geiers German Market provided the traditional fare – with servers decked out in festive garb – and Gold Coast Eagle Distributing provided the beverages.
“Events like this are a great opportunity for our members to not only network with each other professionally but to also get to know the many benefits of membership with the Gulf Coast Builder’s Exchange,” said Mary Dougherty-Slapp, executive director of the GCBX. “Our members receive industry discounts on products, gain assistance with advocacy and issues, receive education in their respective fields and more,” she said.
The GCBX’s next event is the 3rd annual Chili Cook Off on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Conley Buick GMC in Bradenton. Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Admission includes three drink tickets and 10 chili tastings. For tickets, visit www.GCBX.org.
