Company Prepares to Support Communities in Need During Hurricane Season
TAMPA, Fla. (October 2, 2015) – Digital Reception Services, Inc., a leading DISH Network Sales and Service provider, announced today that it has joined the Satellite CARES Team. Digital Receptions Services will provide support and services during the recovery process to areas impacted by hurricanes or other catastrophic events.
The Satellite CARES Program is a partnership initiative between the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center, Inc. (ITDRC) and the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA). The program’s mission is to harness the philanthropic resources of the technology community to provide no cost technical assistance to communities in crisis through a nationwide team of service oriented volunteer technology professionals and corporate partners.
Upon request from a governmental agency or NGO partner, ITDRC will activate and deploy Technology teams and supporting resources to provide continuity and recovery assistance to any community in the U.S. When called, technicians from Digital Reception Services will deploy to Evacuation Shelters, Command Centers, Resource Centers, Volunteer and Recovery centers or anywhere they are needed to repair and support internet and video programming accessibility.
