TAMPA, Fla. – Hat Trick Theatre Productions presents Ira Levin’s Deathtrap: A Thriller in Two Acts in The Murray Studio Theatre at Ruth Eckerd Hall, October 15-25.
How far would you go for success? Once-great playwright, Sidney Bruhl, is struggling to regain his glory and create another hit thriller. Unfortunately, the well has run dry – until Clifford (one of his former students) asks for advice on the play that he’s written. Clifford’s work is brilliant, so Sidney invites him to his secluded home to review the play… but might have something more sinister planned for his young prodigy.
Starring Tampa actors Brian Shea as Sidney Bruhl and Jamie Jones as Clifford Anderson, along with Betty-Jane Parks, Eddie Gomez, and Dana Barth Kovar. Deathtrap is directed by Jack Holloway with set design by Kristen Garza.
Hat Trick Theatre Productions, Inc. is the resident theatre company of Ruth Eckerd Hall.
