(SARASOTA, Fla., September 29, 2015) Manasota SCORE’s next series of Simple Steps for Starting Your Business workshops will be held at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, located at 1845 34th St. (southwest corner of U.S. 301 and Myrtle St.) in North Sarasota.
These workshops offer techniques, tools and assistance for people who are thinking about starting or purchasing a business.
A free introductory workshop, Startup Basics, is offered twice, on Saturday, Ocober 10, and October 17, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. It covers critical factors in achieving business success, including the advantages of different business structures.
The remaining Saturday workshops in the series are: Your Business Concept (October 31), to help refine the concept and identify the target market; Marketing Plan (November 7), including pricing strategies; Financial Projections (November 14); and Funding Sources (November 21). They will all be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The $25 fee for these workshops can be paid when registering online or by check at the event.
