SARASOTA, FL (Sept. 21, 2015) – Brothers Dan Snyder and Rob Snyder are hosting the 17th Annual Patricia Snyder Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Laurel Oak Country Club. Since it began in 1999, the tournament has raised more than $265,000 to benefit the Patricia S. Snyder Children’s Fund at Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Inc. Mrs. Snyder was the head nurse of Sarasota Memorial’s pediatric adolescent wing. Following her death on August 14, 1997, her sons established the fund—which has paid for medical treatment and specialized equipment for ill children treated at the hospital— in her memory.

Other Hole-in-One prizes from Sunset Automotive Group include Titleist Pro V1 Balls and a putter, a Bushnell Golf GPS as well as a $250 American Express Gift Card.
The scramble golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., followed by 18 holes of golf and lunch afterwards. Each player pays a $150 fee, which covers the green fees, a cart and lunch, special early registration costs $125 per person.
The Patricia Snyder Children’s Fund Comedy Night will be held prior to the tournament on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2014, at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre. Featured comedian will be Ron Feingold. Tickets are $20 per person and are available by calling McCurdy’s at (941) 925-funy (3869).
