Annual fundraiser benefits programs for people with disabilities
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. – On Friday, Oct.23, Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. and SunTrust Foundation will present “Ghoulwill Bash,” a Halloween party to benefit Goodwill’s services for people with disabilities. This year’s theme is Carnival of Dread, and it promises to be a side show of creepy fun!
Guests will enjoy cocktails, delicious food by Goodwill’s own Good to Go catering, live music, a Midway of Dread runway show of costumes from Goodwill finds and more! Local celebrity “runway models” include Gene Ramirez, Leigh Spann and Leslee Lacey of News Channel 8, and Jennifer Epstein and Taylor Katz of FOX 13.
The unique event will be held at 7 p.m. at the historic Coliseum, 535 4th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Gayle Guyardo of News Channel 8 will be master of ceremonies.
Guests are encouraged to enter our costume contest for a chance to win some scary good prizes.
Tickets are $75 ($80 after October 17) and may be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com. Costumes are encouraged and cocktail attire is suggested for guests who don’t come in costume.
Tickets include heavy hors d’oeuvres, two complimentary cocktails, free psychic and tarot card readings, midway games, a silent auction and live music by the Luna Blue Band
Businesses in the community have enthusiastically stepped forward to sponsor the event, which will benefit Goodwill-Suncoast’s training programs in Tampa Bay, Lakeland and Ocala for people who have developmental disabilities. SunTrust Foundation is the presenting sponsor. Platinum sponsors are Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Bright House Networks and the Tampa Bay Times.
