Village Partners International, a local non-profit organization, has invited bay area families to ‘Kids Helping Kids!’ on October 10th from 10:30am-noon at Kate Jackson Park in South Tampa. This free event is for all kids and families to explore the cultures of others through crafts, games and health activities. Donations of Band-Aids and Children’s Vitamins will be collected for the group’s upcoming medical mission trip to a remote hospital in Papoli, Haiti.
Village Partners International, is a charity organization of all volunteers based right here in Tampa. Their Mission is to partner with select impoverished world villages to help them help themselves to improve education, nutrition and healthcare through sustainable projects. VPI provides gifts, financial support, and expertise in healthcare, education, agriculture and entrepreneurship to support local people to affect positive changes in their villages. The causes of this inclusive, interfaith group include clean water, improved nutrition, maternity and pediatric clinics, orphan housing and access to higher education.
