Pasco-Hernando State College women’s volleyball team will host a Cancer Awareness event/Dig Pink volleyball match against Florida National University on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. at the PHSC West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road in the physical fitness center.
Cancer awareness event T-shirts will be sold for $10 each on the day of the event and by PHSC’s volleyball team members through the month of October. A portion of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be distributed to the Sideout Foundation, a nonprofit that awards grants to medical research organizations and entities dedicated to providing patient services to breast cancer patients and their families. The remaining proceeds will help specific cancer patients with medical costs.
