The 14th Annual “Richard’s Run for Life” 5K is Friday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in Ybor City’s Centennial Park. Come run, walk or simply enjoy the food and beverages while helping researchers at Moffitt Cancer Center find a cure for cancer.
One hundred percent of every dollar donated and raised will benefit the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program for sarcoma research and the Advanced Prostate Cancer Collaboration (APCC) at Moffitt.
“Richard’s Run for Life” has raised more than $848,000 in the last 13 years.
The all-ages entry fee is $25 per person online pre-registration through Oct. 30, 2015 or post-marked entry by Oct. 28, ($30 day of.) Registration includes a Dri-Fit T-shirt, available to the first 2,000 registrants. Men’s and women’s sizes available. Register at: www.RichardsRunForLife.org
All registered runners/walkers will receive free entry to the post-race party. Don’t want to walk or run? Pay a $20 donation (children under 12, $10) just to attend the post-race party. (Does not include race T-shirts.)

“Richard’s Run for Life” 5K Race, which is part of the Gonzmart Family Foundation — a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization — was created by Columbia Restaurant President Richard Gonzmart as a way to combine his love for running with his long-time desire to find a cure for cancer.
