Starting October 1, as part of Manufacturing Day in Florida, middle and high school students from Pinellas County are set to tour 14 high-tech manufacturing sites with a “Made in Florida” movie screening scheduled at James Weldon Johnson Library & Seminole Library on Oct. 21 & 27, respectively. CareerSource Pinellas will host a job fair at the EpiCenter campus on Oct. 17 from noon to 3 p.m., with priority given to military veterans during the first hour. City of Safety Harbor took a leading step in issuing a proclamation for Manufacturing Day on September 9. Oldsmar, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Pinellas County will each issue proclamations for Manufacturing Day on Oct. 6, Oct. 8, Oct. 14 and Oct. 20, respectively.
