Tampa Bay Area Dunkin Donuts Franchise Raises Nearly $5k for Youth Outreach Non-Profit, Fit4Truth
Fit4Truth’s mission is to support local children currently residing in local foster group homes
St. Petersburg, FL (Sept 10, 2015) – On 9 September, 18 Clearwater area Dunkin Donuts locations, managed by Purple Management Group, teamed up to raise nearly $5,000 for Fit4Truth. Founded by Marines and Army veterans, Fit4Truth is a youth outreach organization whose mission is to teach kids in the foster care system personal development through unique physical and mental activities.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will support their upcoming retreat to be held in Brandon at Rotary’s Camp Florida. The day will include workshops hosted by leaders from USF and various small businesses all aimed at teaching kids product development, communication, teamwork, healthy living, positivity, and entrepreneurship. Over one-hundred foster kids will partake in the upcoming retreat.
“I am so grateful the Purple Management Group decided to fundraise for our cause.” Says Founder and President Beau Blouin. “Local business support is important to our mission and allows us to provide these amazing opportunities for local foster kids. We could not be more grateful for their generous support.”
