[Tampa, Florida] – Haute Accessories Week is celebrating 5 years and began on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 and leading up to our main event Haute Accessories Runway Show on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Carrollwood Country Club. This event will include designers Ella Bing(Tampa), Shola Designs (Tampa), Chelsea Nicole’s Exclusive (Orlando), Malchijah Hats (New York), Tenique Tenique (Jamaica), UNICAS Fashion, Eric Green Collection (Orlando), Wendy Foreman Designs (Ormond Beach) and Erika Williner Designs (Tampa). The week will feature an Opening Night Mixer, a Style Exhibit and a Fashion Party.
Organizing a week of fashion events people flock to is no easy feat. And now five years later one would think The Fashion Movement must be the result of women who know what their attendees want to see. Many are shocked to know four guys, Lacey B. Smith, Tony E. Smith, Jermaine Levy and Curtis Clarke are the mastermind of creating unique events that are talked about year round.
They have been recognized with a Best in the Bay award from Creative Loafing and have received the support of many established fashion industry personnel.
Over the years HAUTE has been featured in the local and national media with local emcees ranging from Rod Carter (WFLA), Forbes Riley(Award Winning TV Host), Holley Sinn (former Studio 10 host), Mayra Gomez (former international model) and a host of special attendees. Designers have ranged from local to international and to those just beginning to veterans who have participated in New York Fashion Week festivities. Blogger Andra Rich of “Knick Knacker” said, “I always love these types of events because all of us fashion bloggers, photographers, designers, marketers, and overall fashion lovers get the chance to come together to relax, have some drinks, and get to know each other.”
HAUTE Accessories Week is a rare fashion production and has become a signature one for the community and has been noted for helping to grow the area’s fashion community. HAUTE, spotlights the contributions accessory designers make to the fashion industry; featuring the unique and creative works of independent established and emerging accessory designers. Art and photography will also be an integral part of this year’s presentation, featuring creations by Broadway Photography and Jose Gomez Fine Art. As always, proceeds from the events will be shared with local charity, Joshua’s House.
