Holy Hog BBQ will be celebrating their downtown location’s One Year Anniversary and observing Patriot Day on Friday, September 11th.
The celebration will kick off with their downtown restaurant’s most recent expansion: the Southern Biscuit Kitchen and breakfast menu. They’ll introduce three signature biscuits: the Backyard Pimp Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit, the Big Bad Biscuit (aka The Nasty), and the Redneck Cuban Biscuit.
This Birthday Bash will also include food and drink specials all day long. From Funky Buddha’s Tap Takeover to their sizzling BBQ, this is one party you won’t want to miss!
To top it all off, they’ll be hosting a live musical performance from a local favorite, South Tampa Native Matt Jeffries, at 5pm.
Holy Hog Owner, Daniel Hernandez, says, “We’re so thankful for the overwhelming support from our Holy Hog Nation and can’t wait to celebrate a successful first year with friends and family!”
They also plan to take this day to recognize our nation’s heroes. Honoring Patriot Day will begin with a complimentary biscuit and coffee for all Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, Military, and support staff. This will be followed by the singing of the National Anthem at 12pm by Chops Music Studio.
In addition, a percentage of all sales will proudly be donated to the Tampa Police Benevolent Association, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, and Friends of Tampa Firefighters.
Hernandez continues, “More than anything, we want to come together as Holy Hog Nation and thank the incredible men and women who selflessly protect our country every day.”
Located at 302 E. Kennedy Blvd in downtown Tampa, Holy Hog hopes to see you there.
