Joshua Boltz, PhD, PE, has joined Stantec’s Water Group in the firm’s Tampa, Florida office as a wastewater technology leader and senior process engineer. Boltz brings more than 17 years of experience in wastewater process engineering. Prior to joining our firm, Dr. Boltz spent 10 years with CH2M HILL where he was the biofilm technologies practice leader and a senior wastewater process engineer. There he managed multi-billion dollar wastewater treatment/collection/conveyance programs, and helped develop internal tools such as proprietary wastewater treatment plant simulators and parametric cost estimating software.
Boltz has published several papers, book chapters, and manuals of practice describing wastewater treatment processes and the mathematical modeling of these systems. He is a member and Fellow with the International Water Association.
