Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough Counties, Florida – (July 30, 2015) Pasco Aging Network will host its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 8 am to 10 am at
King of Kings Lutheran Church, 10337 U.S. 19, Port Richey, FL 34668. This month’s meeting is hosted by Williams, Ristoff & Proper, P.L.C..
Pasco Aging Network meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 8 am to 10 am; while the meetings are at the same date and time each month the location and speakers will change.
The Pasco Aging Network (PAN) is a coalition of public and private organizations and companies providing elder services in Pasco County. Created in 1989 PAN provides a forum for networking, sharing ideas, and disseminating information about services for seniors. PAN is affiliated with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco/Pinellas, Inc.
The mission of PAN is to promote continuing service excellence to seniors through proactive, visionary and ethical leadership in networking, education, and collaboration.
The goals of PAN are to engage in such programs and activities as follows:
[if !supportLists]· [endif]To improve communication and collaboration among service providers by conducting group meetings, educational seminars and joint programs, and by distributing a newsletter.
[if !supportLists]· [endif]To obtain the interest and support of businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and private citizens by requesting their participation in PAN activities.
[if !supportLists]· [endif]To advocate for the quality and availability of services for seniors.
[if !supportLists]· [endif]To promote relationships and networking between private sector and public sector organizations serving elders in Pasco County, Florida.
[if !supportLists]· [endif]To increase the awareness of the services, and resources offered by the Senior Helpline, an information and assistance program of Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc.
Membership in PAN is open to all government organizations, non-profit agencies, private agencies, businesses, educational institutions, and individuals who are committed to improving the quality and availability of services to seniors.
