Spring Hill, Florida (July 28, 2015) – Oak Hill Hospital announces the appointment of Peggy Madill, RN, BSN, MBA, as Vice President of Quality & Patient Safety. Ms. Madill comes to Oak Hill Hospital with a background as a Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Information Officer, and as a Chief Quality Officer. She has been a clinical administrator and Executive Director for Chapters Health System, which manages three hospices in the Tampa Bay area (LifePath Hospice, Good Shepherd Hospice, and HPH Hospice). Ms. Madill has also served as Assistant Vice President at UCH Health System, which is now Florida Hospital in Tampa.
Ms. Madill is a Florida native who grew up in the Tampa region. She started her career as an associate degree nurse and has earned her BSN from USF and her MBA from Nova University.
She is a licensed healthcare risk manager, certified as a health information technology clinician/practioner consultant, and a certified professional in healthcare quality.
In making the announcement, Michael A Torres, MD, MBA, FAAFP, CPE, the Chief Medical Officer at Oak Hill Hospital, stated, “She brings a wealth of healthcare management experience in acute care, hospice and palliative care, and home healthcare. She will be a tremendous asset to our organization.”
