Industry Experts and Hotel Investors Highlight Lodging Industry Outlook
Tampa, FL (July 27, 2015) … Leading hospitality industry experts will convene in Tampa from 8 a.m. – noon on Thursday, July 30, to provide local hoteliers with perspectives on travel trends, upcoming hotel development and renovation projects and economic factors that will impact Tampa Bay’s travel industry in 2016.
Presentations are designed to help hoteliers, and other travel-related businesses, develop sales strategies, annual budgets and marketing campaigns for the coming year.
For the first time an Owners Roundtable will be convened as part of the forum to address market influences impacting property investments and acquisitions by hotel owners, or ownership groups. In addition to his presentation, Lou Plasencia, of the Tampa-based Plasencia Group, will moderate the Owners Roundtable featuring the following owners:
- Rene Bardel – Partner, Arden Real Estate – Owner of the Intercontinental Tampa Westshore
- Tim Bogott – CEO, Fortune Hotels – Owner of TradeWinds Island Resorts, Pinellas TDC member
