Brad Carver, PE, has joined Stantec’s transportation group in Florida as a senior project engineer. Carver has more than 27 years of experience in drainage engineering, particularly for roadway projects. His background includes a specialization with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards as it pertains to the design of storm sewers, wet/dry and retention ponds, cross drains and bridge crossings. He also has expertise with various state water management districts and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
Carver received his bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1991, is a registered professional engineer in Florida, and is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers.
Jack King, senior project manager in the Tampa office’s Transportation Group at Stantec said, “Brad’s skill in the preparation of roadway and drainage designs for major roadways such as I-4 (Orlando), US 41 (Charlotte County) and 22nd Street (Hillsborough County), and as a reviewer and flood investigator for FDOT Districts 1 and 7 show his unique technical ability and flexibility. Those efforts have resulted in many successfully acquired environmental permits for clients across the state.”
