Spring Hill, Florida (July 15, 2015) – NAMI Hernando is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Executive Director to oversee all of the current and future programs and its volunteers and associates.
The executive director will provide direction, vision and leadership toward the goals and objectives of the organization. They will serve as the spokesperson for the organization, articulating its vision and mission. They will provide fiscal oversight, raise funds, participate in the community and advocate as necessary. The position is 30 hours per week.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and five to ten years of relevant experience in an organizational leadership role. Candidate must have knowledge of mental illness. Non-profit management experience, fundraising experience, and experience with grassroots coalition building, advocacy and membership development preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
