Robin Ronne has stepped down as Managing Director for the Greater Fort Lauderdale (GFLA) Alliance CEO Council, a post he held for seven years. During his tenure, Ronne helped to change Greater Fort Lauderdale’s image from that of a tourist center to a hub for some of the world’s largest corporate headquarters. Additionally, the GFLA CEO Council helped to close 19 headquarter relocation/expansion/retention projects for more than 558,000 square feet and secured over $21.5 million in capital investment. Ronne is a former Global Board member for CoreNet Global. He is also a 2013 H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award (GIA) nominee and member of the LEADER Editorial Advisory Group, as well as Vice President and Board member for CoreNet Global’s Southeast Florida chapter.
