The PANCHAKANYAS represent living goddesses. Believed blessings from them is said to bring inner peace, eternal health and prosperity. “One doesn’t have to go to Nepal to get these blessings, they will be here in Tampa” said Tiwari.
As a goodwill gesture, the Nepalese Community of Tampa Bay have also organized a cultural event for participants of the 5K Run/Walk to enjoy ethnic Nepalese food, handicraft display, music and dances. All participations who complete the run/walk will also receive a prayer flag.
