Helping Florida Cats, Supporting Florida Made Coffee, educating the community
Orlando FL, spring 2016: Coffee Right Meow is coming to the Orlando area, with hopes to open in spring of 2016. A Cat Café with a mission, we hope to educate the community on cat behavior and issues, we will be using Florida made coffee, and partnering with a local volunteer based cat rescue. Cat Cafés are a place where people can come and have a great cup of coffee and are welcome to enter the Play Room where are kitties will be free roaming. People will be able to choose from toys and treats for the kitties and maybe even find a kitty they would love to bring home to join the family. The cat café will serve as a place where cats do not have to be in a cage to find a home and because of the people coming to the café the cats will get the socialization they need. On top of being a great place for cats we hope to provide a wonderful place for humans to hang out, with books, and speakers and the most laid back place in town to have a coffee. So Be ready Orlando and come check us Meowt !
. Our Vision:
Coffee Right Meow will be a cat café located in the Orland area. An artisan coffee shop where people can come to enjoy the company of cats, educate themselves on the ownership and proper cat play and behavior. For the kitties this will be a place where they can find a forever home and a future human. A place that is safe for them with no cages and to free roam and play. Coffee Right Meow will be an amazing fusion between your favorite local coffee shop and a cat lover’s paradise that will help foster forever homes for cats of all kinds and education on cat ownership.
Coffee Right Meow’s mission is to provide amazing coffee to the coffee lovers of the world, with local coffee. We will provide a safe environment for both humans and cats, and provide the community an education on cat ownership. Our main mission will always be to find forever homes for the cats in our community.
Our hope is to have Coffee Right Meow open for the Spring of 2016 but hopefully sooner. Our first step is to let the public know our plan, we want to make a website and social media page where people can keep up to date on the progress of the business.. And secondly comes the fundraising efforts we plan to use Gofundme for this, and we will be asking for $50,000. That figure is awaiting a full layout of estimates for the cost of startup. While the fundraising efforts are in the works I have no coffee background but Lucky Goat Coffee will be training me. Also I will be reaching out to big brand names of cat products to try and attain support. After half the fundraising is secured we will then be securing a location which we plan to lease for at least the first year until we have a solid idea of how the business will succeed. After that we can begin to get the equipment and the work on the location and set an opening day. I plan to utilize social media for a lot of the marketing as well as local radio and newspaper.
What Sets Us Apart:
I am sure you are wondering what sets us apart from other cat café’s, well we plan to not only use locally made coffee, but the company we have chosen to partner with, Lucky Goat Coffee, also has some amazing things that other coffee brands do not offer, and I am so excited for everyone to see it and taste it. We have many unique ideas for our space, we will “catify” our walls, and as many other spaces we possibly can. We are going to have the toy zone as well where humans can choose from different toys and grooming items. And our kitties will eve have their own items on the menu! We are also going to have an old fashioned gumball machine full of cat treats! but shhhh…. Don’t tell anyone that last part!
