Tampa, Florida – June 25,2015 – Do you have a burning desire that you want to share with the world? Be a Rock Star, at least for five minutes. Deliver a quick fire talk on a topic that ignites your passion!
We are happy to announce Ignite Tampa Bay 2015! Ignite has become a staple in the local community, delivering a high-energy evening which inspires, educates, entertains and sparks new ideas and conversations across cultures and disciplines of the Tampa Bay Community. This is accomplished through fast-paced, bite-sized presentations where community members get on stage and share their personal or professional passion. These talks can be serious, humorous, inspiring and downright rude at times, but they are always entertaining. It’s a great opportunity to meet smart, interesting people and learn something as well.
At Tampa Bay’s Ignite we try to showcase the best of our community and this year we have selected The Cuban Club in Ybor City as the venue for Ignite which will be held on August 27th at 7:00 pm.
Open Call – Ignite speaker submissions are officially open and so let us hear from you. What are YOU Passionate about that you want to share with the community in 5 minutes? IGNITE is like TED Lite. Ignite speakers get 20 slides at 15 seconds each, to tell the world about their greatest passion.
Ignite Tampa Bay is about inspiring community. We have 20 speaker slots and speaker selections are made multiple times during the open call process so get your submission in early to improve your chances of being selected. We will begin selecting speakers July 6th with the final selection on August 3rd. Share your passion and submit your talk here.
Ignite Tampa Bay Tickets are available here and going fast. We sold out last year and expect the same again this year, so act fast! Be sure to join the meetup group for updates on the event and let everyone you’re going!
