Tampa Bay, FL – The Tampa Bay Technology Forum welcomes you to join our board, team and membership at our Tech Tuesday quarterly mixer, Tuesday, April 28th. The event is presented by Hivelocity and is at the Acropolis Greek Taverna, 515 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Florida 33701. Doors open at 5:30pm.
Tech Tuesday mixers are held once a quarter and allow our members to network in a casual and fun atmosphere. Attendees are a mix of TBTF members as well as non-members representing the overall business and technology community. There is no speaker, no agenda, and no pressure. This event draws approximately 150 attendees.
Hivelocity was founded back in 2002 out of the basement of a downtown St Petersburg office building. At the time their entire service infrastructure lived on 3 or 4 servers in a closet. Back then you couldn’t plug in a vacuum cleaner without fear of shorting something out and taking customer servers offline. Just over 13 years later Hivelocity and its 50 employees host thousands of servers in a privately owned and operated 30,000 square foot data center where customers from over 130 countries are served. Hivelocity has provided its customers with years of 100% uptime, even when they turn on a vacuum.
Additional companies with attendees registered to attend include:
- Bisk Education
- Bloomin Brands
- Florida Blue
- Kobie Marketing
- Tech Data
- Triad Retail Media
- and many more
