TAMPA – Josh Webb, an attorney with Hill Ward Henderson, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida. Since 1929, Bok Tower Gardens has offered some of Florida’s most remarkable and memorable experiences to more than 23 million visitors. A National Historic Landmark, Bok Tower Gardens is comprised of one of the greatest works of famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., a unique 8-level carillon tower, the historic Pinewood Estate, and a Pine Ridge nature trail, all set on one of the highest points in peninsular Florida. In connection with its 85th anniversary, Bok Tower Gardens has embarked upon a comprehensive master plan and companion capital campaign to rejuvenate the gardens and ensure its landmark status is firmly planted well into the future.
“It is an exciting time in the history of Bok Tower Gardens as we are starting to realize our vision for the future,” says president David Price. To date, the Preserve the Legacy, Steward the Future Campaign for Bok Tower Gardens has raised nearly $10.5 million to fund the largest expansion in its history. Webb says that “being elected to the Board of Directors for Bok Tower Gardens is a very exciting and humbling opportunity for me to continue giving back to a place that is truly meaningful to everyone that has the good fortune to visit.”
