Rosedale Construction is pleased to unveil its newest model home – the Sterling VI. Located in Rosedale Links inside Rosedale Golf & Country Club, this elegant model is a stunning example of the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail that the company invests in each home they build.
“I think many people don’t realize the extent of customization options that we offer our customers,” said Matthew Bornstein, sales director of Rosedale Construction. “This model has been thoughtfully designed and styled from top to bottom, but that doesn’t mean we can’t or won’t accommodate a customer who wants to make changes. We are happy to work with our buyers to ensure that they get the home of their dreams – one that is perfect for their family and lifestyle.”
The Sterling VI has an open floor plan that offers 2,878 square feet of air conditioned space, including a spacious great room, chef-inspired kitchen with café, two guest suites with full baths, a formal dining room, private den, and a luxurious master suite. The layout of the home is perfect for entertaining with open flowing spaces that easily accommodate a crowd. The oversized covered lanai features a pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen with bar and dining area, and plenty of space for lounging and visiting with friends. A wooded preserve area behind the home creates a sense of privacy and provides an up-close glimpse of nature with the occasional deer sighting.
Credit for the gorgeous interior of the Sterling VI goes to Linda Mixon, a talented interior designer with her own self-named company who has been styling model and residential homes in Sarasota and Manatee counties for 20 years.
“The overall look I was trying to achieve for this model was one of casual elegance,” said Mixon. “I tried to create an inviting, serene space throughout the house by using a cool yet soft color palette featuring mints, neutrals and taupes. The model’s modern edge is enhanced through exquisite details, such as shimmering accents, chrome and glass light fixtures, and luxurious fabrics and textures. There are many unique facets in this model that will appeal to consumers with a heightened sense of style.”
Mixon gave each room its own “wow factor” by paying careful attention to even the smallest details. In the den, she paired 5” dark maple wood plank flooring with modern espresso-finished furnishings for a contemporary feel. In the great room, a custom entertainment center and built-in dry bar is balanced by beautiful fabrics, dark finishes, and a uniquely textured area rug. Mixon aimed for drama in the dining room with a stunning chandelier from the Dolce collection by Troy. Featuring capiz pearlized shells with crystals and a two-toned champagne silver leaf finish, the fixture is a true statement piece that sets the stage for dazzling dinner parties.
The kitchen is traditionally thought of as “the heart” of the home, so Mixon put extra effort into designing a truly exceptional space. With white cabinetry, a glass subway tile backsplash and lots of glass upper cabinet doors, the whole kitchen takes on a light and bright feel. The countertops are made of a natural quartz which contrasts beautifully with the other surfaces. This is a kitchen designed for serious cooking, with stainless steel appliances from the new GE Profile Series line, including a two-door armoire-style refrigerator with a double drawer freezer, a 30” double convection wall oven, a five-burner gas cooktop, and an interior dishwasher with hidden controls. A massive pantry and center island combine to offer plenty of storage and work space, while the adjacent café and breakfast bar provide abundant seating for guests to relax and sample freshly baked treats.
The guest wing of the home continues with the cool tonal color scheme. The first bedroom features a crisp yet soft look with mint-colored bedding and décor mixed with silver and white accents and a beautiful geometric headboard. The second bedroom displays light and dark shades of blue with circle accents and pops of silver, along with dark wood and distressed furnishings. Both guest bathrooms compliment these décors through their pattered wallpapers and tile accents.
Decorating with warmth and luxury in mind, the master suite stands out as the warm neutral room of the house amidst all the cool tones used elsewhere. Its neutral color palette creates an elegant feel through the use of serene hues, multiple fabrics and textures, and unique clean-lined furniture. The windows are dressed with sheer flowing drapes, and touches of pearlized accessories add a sophisticated feel. There are three closets for ample storage, all featuring a custom wood shelving system in an espresso finish. The master bath features stunning marble countertops, dual rectangular drop-in sinks, a garden tub, and a walk-in Roman shower with pebble river rock flooring.
One of the hidden selling points of the Sterling VI is the club lifestyle that comes with this and every home sold in The Links. As the newest phase of Rosedale Golf and Country Club, every homeowner becomes a social member of the club with the option to purchase a golf and/or tennis membership. Rosedale’s award-winning championship golf course is known for its picturesque fairways with mature trees and serene lakes, while its beautiful clubhouse offers a full-service restaurant, fitness center, pool and active social calendar.
The Sterling VI model is open for public viewing daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. For more information, call 941-751-9070.
