Hernando County residents are invited to attend a free class series, “What’s a Florida-Friendly Yard?” The 3-part series will be held at the Hernando County Extension Office at 1653 Blaise Dr in Brooksville, from 2:00 – 3:00pm on the following days:
January 13th – Florida-Friendly, What Does That Mean?
January 20th – What Not to Plant – Know Your Invasives
January 27th – Going Down the Checklist – Is Your Yard Certifiable?
Residents interested in Florida-Friendly Landscaping, and who wish to create a Florida-Friendly oasis in their own yards, are encouraged to attend any or all of these classes. This is helpful for newcomers and long-time residents as well.
