Jackie Bowman is the Director of Community Services and staff interpreter for the Deaf at Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center. Her passion of advocacy for those with hearing loss led to the formation of the Hearing Loss Association of America – Lakeland chapter, educating “Hearing” on the culturally Deaf through community sign language classes and raising awareness of services and technology offered by CFSHC that mitigate everyday living challenges faced by people living with hearing loss. Jackie will present at the chapter meeting on the free amplified phone program available to residents of the State of Florida with a speech or hearing loss. Take this opportunity to learn about this fantastic program. Equipment will be available to try out.
