More than $4,600 raised by First Bank employees for United Way of Manatee County
Thanks to employee campaign gifts, First Bank staff raised more than $4,600 during the 2014 Annual United Way Employee Campaign in October.
“I want to thank our employees who made this campaign such a success,” said Anne Lee, First Bank President of Florida Retail Banking and United Way of Manatee County Campaign Chairwoman. “It really is another testament of their giving and generous community spirit.”
The 2014 Annual United Way Employee Campaign ran during the October.
First Bank also continued with the tradition of the “Plus 1 Club,” an initiative that allows employees to contribute a dollar more per pay period than last year. For each additional dollar contributed, employees had their names entered into a special drawing for prizes.
First Bank has always been a huge supporter of the United Way with employee campaigns going on in all four states where the bank has branch locations.
United Way Day of Caring
During the campaign in October, First Bank employees also took part in the United Way Day of Caring, helping to freshen up the Village of the Arts in Bradenton. About 200 community volunteers participated in the effort.
First Bank is one of the largest privately owned banks in the country with $5.89 billion in assets and 129 locations in Florida, Illinois, California, and Missouri.
