TAMPA, Fla. (November 18, 2014) – WUSF Public Media announces Tracy Mitchell has joined the station as fundraising producer. Mitchell will be responsible for overseeing the station’s year-round on-air fundraising and will guide communications aimed at encouraging the community to support public radio and television.
With more than ten years of experience in public media, Mitchell has served in development, membership and sales roles for stations in Indiana and Arizona. Most recently, Mitchell was the director of donor engagement at WFYI in Indianapolis. She has also worked for KAET-TV Public Broadcasting at Arizona State University where she worked in the sales and membership offices.
Mitchell graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Behavioral Studies. She has served on the board of Connect2Help and is a graduate of United Way of Central Indiana’s Executive Women’s Leadership board development program.
