BAAA will host the 20th Developer’s Forum on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Marriott Westshore Hotel, 1001 N. Westshore Blvd, Tampa, Florida. This day long event will be informative, educational and entertaining. Leroy Moore has worked in the real estate development arena since 1984 and is currently the Senior Vice-President & COO of the City of Tampa Housing Authority. He oversees all aspects of the Authority’s Office of Operations and Real Estate Development including projects such as HOPE VI redevelopments, long-range capital and strategic planning and corporate vision management. Mr. Moore is leading the massive 12-city block, mixed-use “Encore’ redevelopment project.

Schedule of Events Announced for Bay Area Apartment Association Developer’s Forum.
A full day of events offers guests at the November 20, 2014 Developer’s Forum the opportunity to network and share information about the rapidly evolving multi-family rental market in the Bay Area.
The morning events will include economic updates, a brokerage viewpoint on land acquisition nearby, along with a government affairs report on significant life safety and code enforcement issues. There will also be panel discussion highlighting the multiple issues that the increased interest in the re-hab market has sparked.
Mr. Leroy Moore, Tampa Housing Authority Vice President and Chief Operating Officer will be the guest speaker at the Developer’s Forum Luncheon. He will highlight the progress of the “Encore” revitalization program during his remarks.
The afternoon program will share the construction/development status of several new and proposed projects.
The multi-family market has grown significantly in recent months and the trend to upscale housing is a dominant factor in the market place.
