Shelley Seifert has joined First Bank as Executive Vice President – Chief Administrative Officer. Her office will be located at First Bank’s Clayton, Missouri headquarters (135 N. Meramec).

In her newly-created executive role, Seifert will have executive responsibility over the following groups: Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Internal Communications, Special Projects and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
Prior to joining First Bank, Seifert served in several leadership capacities for PNC Financial Services Group including Executive Vice President – Integrations and Operations (Pittsburgh) and Executive Vice President and Integration Co-Leader (Cleveland).
During her tenure at PNC, Seifert led key corporate strategic initiatives including the streamlining of commercial loan operations functions. She also spearheaded the integration of RBC USA, effectively positioning PNC for growth in the Southeast, and served as co-leader of the National City Corporation/PNC mergers, one of the largest and most successful in banking history.
While with National City Corporation, Seifert served as Chief Administrative Officer, leading the Human Resources, Public Affairs, Real Estate, Marketing, Sales and Corporate Communications functions. Prior to that role, she was appointed to direct a corporate-wide performance improvement program and also served as the Director of Corporate Human Resources for 10 years.
Active in the community, Seifert has served on numerous non-profit boards including Chairman of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland and Business Volunteers Unlimited. She was also on the board of directors for the Red Cross, and the United Way.
Seifert has an MBA with an emphasis on finance from the University of Louisville and a bachelor’s in journalism and consumer economics from the University of Missouri.
The hiring of Seifert marks several key additions to First Bank’s leadership team. Lathe joined First Bank in 2013 as did Gene Todd (Managing Director, Trust and Wealth Management). More recently, First Bank added Jonathan Roberts (Executive Vice President – Director of Retail Banking) Kelly Dulle (Senior Vice President, Director for Treasury Management) and Steve Fiata (California Retail Banking Manager and National Business Banking Sales Manager). They join an experienced team led by Lathe and Terry McCarthy, Chief Executive Officer for First Bank.
