Venice, FL, November 4, 2014 –ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance & Design’s new “ArtisTree University” program for company employees has expanded to include certification courses and industry conferences/workshops.
Three ArtisTree managers attending “ArtisTree U” have earned FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP) certifications from the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association. Jeremy Lepper and Todd Walters, both ArtisTree account executives, and New Business Development Manager Scott Acton completed the certification program — the industry’s only standard for measuring horticulture knowledge ranging from plant and pest identification to landscape management. Since 1984, FCHP promotes professionalism among horticulture professionals with more than 1,700 certified professionals in Florida, the southeast and the Bahamas.
ArtisTree U “students” most recently attended industry conferences and workshops including the National Women in Green Industry, The Landscape Show and PLANET’s Green Industry Conference to learn about evolving industry practices, equipment trends and communication/sales strategies.
