Tampa, Florida (October 31, 2014) – Tampa Downtown Partnership released the names of the winners of this year’s Urban Excellence Awards this week. The Awards are a celebration of businesses, organizations, individuals, events,and projects that have made significant contributions toward creating a unique, vibrant and diverse Downtown and have made a lasting, positive impact on Downtown Tampa.
The 2014 Award Winners are:
Public Sector Project Award – Waterworks Park
Private Sector Project Award – Aloft Downtown Tampa
Partnership Award – Ulele / Ulele Spring
Landmark Development Project Award – Le Meridien Hotel
Downtown Detail Award – The Franklin Building
Downtown Experience Award – E-Boats
Activating Spaces Award – Cyclovia
Marketplace Award – Holy Hog
Downtown Person of the Year Award – Antonio de Sousa, Hilton Downtown Tampa
Voting is currently open for the “People’s Choice” Award. People can vote for their favorite downtown project, entity or individual at People’s Choice Award Voting.
The poll closes November 12, 2014.
