Bradenton, FL – On Thursday, Oct. 16, Champs Sports proudly presented its annual charity golf tournament at the private Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Bradenton. Sponsors came together for an exciting day of golf, networking and enjoyment while contributing to the future of the community’s most needy children.
All net proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the 13th Avenue Community Center of Bradenton, Fla., which provides low-income and at-risk youth the opportunity to find healthy solutions to the challenges facing underprivileged youth. The goal of the Center is to provide youth with a solid educational foundation that will lead to a lifelong love of learning — not just academically, but socially and culturally, as well.
“There is no better way to impact the future of our community than to focus on the children of today. For the past 75 years, the 13th Avenue Community Center has served some of our area’s neediest children and families with after-school programs that keep them safe, while also providing educational assistance and individual tutoring,” said Laura Brady, Vice President, Planning at Champs Sports. “This was the 12th consecutive year our corporate associates and vendor partners participated in this fundraiser. Together, we can continue to Build Dreams and Change Lives.”
