TAMPA, Fla. (October 20, 2014) – WUSF Public Media announces Scott Nolan has been promoted to development director. With more than a decade of experience in the broadcast industry and development, Nolan will oversee all of WUSF’s charitable giving programs and strategies. He will develop new fundraising strategies for the station and oversee a staff of 12.
Nolan first joined WUSF Public Media as membership manager in 2002 and over the years has served as development officer and most recently, associate director of development. Nolan has served in fundraising and leadership roles at the Columbia Museum of Art in South Carolina as well as with WDAV Classical Public Radio in North Carolina.
A native of New Jersey, Nolan holds a Master of Arts degree in History from American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and History from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Scott is a member of Tampa Rotary and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
