St. Petersburg’s Second Saturday ArtWalk will be held on Saturday, November 8th from 5 to 9 p.m. Over 40 galleries and studios in the Waterfront Arts District, Central Arts District, EDGE District, Grand Central District, and the Warehouse Arts District come together as one arts destination. Along with dozens of St Petersburg art venues, ArtWalk will be broadened for this one month to celebrate the BLUE Ocean Festival week.
ArtWalk will feature ocean themed art work. Visitors will be the first to see new affordable works of art, as ArtWalk is Opening Night where many galleries and studios premiere new works. Some are only open on ArtWalk, and many offer demonstrations and refreshments. It’s impossible to take in the entire ArtWalk in one night! Plan to drive, walk, or take the trolleys to visit the districts of your choice.
Free ArtWalk trolleys will encompass Warehouse Arts District and the Grand Central District, The Central Avenue trolley serves the Waterfront, Central, Edge and Grant Central Districts. Free parking can be found on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S from 15th St. to 30th St. and at the Florida Holocaust Museum. Please download the map and list of participants to plan your artful evening at www.stpeteartsalliance.org.
Duke Energy is our sponsor. The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, the Arts Association St. Petersburg, the EDGE District, the Grand Central District, and the Warehouse Arts District associations coordinate St. Petersburg’s Second Saturday ArtWalk.
