MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Oct. 16, 2014) – First Bank knows what it means to LIVE UNITED! This past Thursday, Anne Lee, Retail Banking President, presented a $10,000 check to Philip Brown, Angela Moore, and Bruce Body with United Way of Manatee County (UWMC). United Way is grateful for this generous gift and which increased $4,500 over last year. First Bank and its employees have a rich history with United Way and are actively involved as volunteers, donors, and advocates working to make a difference in our community. Anne Lee, who also serves as Chair of the United Way Engagement Team, has joined with several other First Bank volunteers to champion many fundraising and awareness initiatives that have brought additional resources to our community.
United Way of Manatee County is a catalyst for lasting change by developing the resources and partnerships needed to make a measurable positive difference in our community and in people’s lives.
