The TBBCoC is hosting a Learn @ Lunch on October 23rd at the Sirata Beach Resort & Conference Center on St. Pete Beach. Our speakers from DUKE Energy are ready to share with you their vision for underground utilities throughout the bay area. The conversion of overhead power lines to underground has been a topic of great interest on the Pinellas Barrier Islands. With the county’s funding of Gulf Blvd for undergrounding and beautification, Duke Energy has been working with municipal partners along Gulf Blvd to identify plans for conversion. Representatives from Duke Energy will join the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber on October 23rd to share insight on the conversion process including how to ensure safety, reliability, and the roles and responsibilities of the company and municipalities.
The presenters include: Luis Ordaz, Director of Distribution and Project Management for Florida and Melissa Seixas, Government and Community Relations Manager for Pinellas and Pasco.
As always, the lunch will be preceded by networking so don’t miss out on a fabulous opportunity to make new connections and find ways to be the most productive you! Pricing: TBBCoC members are $15 and future members are $25. Please pre-register with the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce by calling 727-360-6957. Cash walk-ups welcome.
