Tampa, FL (October 13, 2014) – Shadows of the food being served at Zoofari reveal silhouettes of elephants and giraffes, foreshadowing the wild feast to benefit wildlife at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. This is part of an innovative new advertising campaign created by Schifino Lee Advertising + Branding promoting the 28th annual Zoofari food festival on November 8th.
“We wanted to connect the fun of animals at the zoo with the fun of food at Zoofari,” said Paola Schifino, principal at Schifino Lee.
The food-centric campaign features animal shadows which were created using food items and utensils. Various designs were used for posters, fliers, t-shirts, print ads, VIP buttons, digital banners, and a radio spot promoting the event.
“Our four-year partnership with Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo has offered us the opportunity to creatively up-the-ante for this year’s event,” says Dan Stevenson, executive creative director at Schifino Lee.
Zoofari will feature seven live bands, art auctions as well as food and drink from more than 50 local restaurants spread throughout the entire park. The event which has been known to attract close to 3,000 attendees, will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets start at just $75 and VIP tickets are available.
