Sales have reached 40 percent in Westshore Yacht Club’s new Casa Bahia neighborhood, with seven of the initial 18 homes sold in the first three mid-rise buildings now under construction by WCI Communities.
WCI introduced Casa Bahia’s luxury penthouse residences this summer and has released for sale the first three buildings offering prime water views.
Planned for nine four-story buildings, Casa Bahia offers three residential floors above parking with two homes per floor. Seven buildings will feature western bay views, and two will face north across the water.
Casa Bahia’s three-bedroom Residence 01 and Residence 02 home designs offer 2,930 and 2,950 square feet of living space and were created for residents who want the convenience of a lock-and-leave lifestyle plus the amenities of Westshore Yacht Club, WCI’s boating community on Old Tampa Bay in South Tampa.
The penthouse residences feature popular great room designs combining dining areas and kitchens into an expansive space, a breakfast nook in a bay window, and a library/media room with private loggia. Homes also have three full baths, powder rooms, and tray ceilings in bedrooms and above the great room/dining area.
Kitchens feature in-room dining at a raised breakfast bar, and great rooms offer multiple sliding glass doors opening onto the expansive wraparound loggias oriented to the water.
Casa Bahia’s luxury penthouse-inspired homes also feature owner’s suites with oversized walk-in closets and sliding glass doors that open onto secluded areas of the main loggia. Owner’s bathrooms offer door-less walk-in showers, a separate tub, private water closet, and vanities with his-and-her sinks.
The floor plans also feature double doors into the library, double-entry laundry rooms for added convenience, and private elevators and stairways.
Including 704 square feet of covered loggias, Casa Bahia’s homes will offer 3,634 and 3,654 total square feet.
Homes start from the $690,000s.
The neighborhood’s initial phase also will feature a fully furnished model created by Beasley & Henley Interior Design, expected to be completed and open for viewing summer of 2015.
The model’s elegant transitional design will juxtapose silver, gold and glass accents with textural and natural pieces and feature a blend of modern art, photography and whimsical landscapes. A light palette will be played up with dashes of vibrant accent colors. Design highlights also will include a glass tear-drop chandelier, upholstered headboards with nailhead trim and tufted accents, and slip-covered bed-like lounge chairs for the loggia.
