This year’s 2nd Annual Pinellas County Reverse Tradeshow takes place on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at Pinellas County Cooperative Extension. The Reverse Tradeshow is an opportunity for local and small businesses to meet and connect with buyers and contract administrators representing all departments in the County and access the Pinellas County Florida Small Business Development Center Contracting Services. The event includes procurement exhibits, a panel discussion on “Doing Business with Pinellas County,” and lunch sponsored by The Minority Business Development Corporation. There is no cost to the public and includes free registration, admission and parking for all participants.
The event was moved to the Cooperative Extension because of the overwhelming success of last year’s event. Attendance last year was approximately two hundred (200) with thirty (30) agencies and over sixty (60) buyers participating. Significantly higher attendance and participation is expected this year. In order to build on the event’s success and to provide our local and small businesses a valuable and enjoyable experience, it is requested that each County department be involved and participate in this important event. Additional information can be obtained by contacting Yolanda Cowart at Economic Development, (727) 453-7228.
