Annual fundraiser benefits programs for people with disabilities
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. – On Friday, Oct.24, Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. and SunTrust Foundation will present “Ghoulwill Bash,” a Halloween-themed party to benefit Goodwill’s services for people with disabilities.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, delicious food by Goodwill’s own Good to Go catering, live music, a Cloak & Swagger runway show of costumes from Goodwill finds and more! The unique event will be held at 7 p.m. at the historic Coliseum, 535 4th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Gayle Guyardo of News Channel 8 will be master of ceremonies.
Guests are encouraged to enter our costume contest for a chance to win some scary good prizes. Guest costumes will be judged by Charley Belcher and Jennifer Epstein of FOX 13 and Drew Garabo, talk show host on 102.5 The Bone.
Tickets are $75 and may be purchased online at www.goodwill-suncoast.org or by calling 1-888-279-1988, ext. 1052. Cocktail attire is suggested for guests who don’t come in costume.
Tickets include heavy hors d’oeuvres, two complimentary cocktails, free psychic readings, and live music by the Luna Blue Band. The evening will also feature a silent auction and raffle items.
Businesses in the community have enthusiastically stepped forward to sponsor the event, which will benefit Goodwill-Suncoast’s training programs in Tampa Bay, Lakeland and Ocala for people who have developmental disabilities. Platinum sponsors are Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Bright House Networks and Tampa Bay Times.
